Absolutely, and in most cases it will be extended due to not having all the bloatware that are put on a phone by Google, Samsung, Apple, and other providers.

Unfortunately most phones, whether Android (Samsung, LG, etc) or Apple are shipped with copious amounts of trackers and third-party software. The good news is that we have the tools and custom OS's for people that are seeking an ecosystem which prioritizes privacy and security above all.

Absolutely! Privacy is a human right, over 130 countries have constitutional statements regarding the protection of privacy, in every region of the world. We all have the natural right to communicate and share opinions, thoughts, and information. Privacy allows for norms, ethics, and laws to be freely discussed, tested, challenged, and evaluated. Democracy, therefore, cannot flourish and develop, nor indeed exist, without privacy.

Being able to make decisions privately without being scrutinized – and controlling how and to what extent that private information is communicated to others – is at the very core of personhood and individuality. A lack of privacy can lead to self-censorship and therefore a loss in a piece of who you are.

We only deal with brand new phones. Furthermore, these devices have been meticulously set up, following strict protocols. Once they are shipped out and received, we can no longer guarantee that they have not been tampered with. As such we would not be able to re-sell a phone that has been sent out. Due to these reasons, we can not accept returns due to a change of mind or a mismatch in selecting the right device.

Installing a custom ROM does unfortunately void the warranty on the phone. It would be similar to replacing the engine of a car provided by the manufacturer with a custom one.

People are free to choose on their own the method by which they connect the phone. Some people use the privacy phones on WiFi only, others purchase a pre-paid sim card, and some use their existing sim.

Anyone providing you with a cell service would have access to your call logs and data usage. We do not want any access to peoples day to day activities. As such we do not offer a cell service.

The GrapheneOS Auditor app uses hardware security features on supported devices to validate the integrity of the operating system from another Android device. It will verify that the device is running the stock operating system with the bootloader locked and that no tampering with the operating system has occurred.
